OK, I'm going to try to avoid ranting too much as I dust off the blog. So I shall now post "Things that confuse me as of late."
2. We have vehicles that can take us across the country in a matter of days. So why did it take until 2010 to develop headlights that turn off when you take the key out of the car?
3. Our phones can do things by us talking to them. But they can't understand the commands with any degree of accuracy unless we're shouting at them.
4. I have a phone that we bought about 6 years ago that can store numbers, display the phone number of who is calling me and can be carried all over the house without losing its signal. But an off button, a feature in a corded phone that my wife has owned since she was a teenager, is beyond today's tech.
5. We can make a deposit to our bank accounts by taking a picture of a check but our VA still can't clear cases from several years ago.
Anyone else have additions to the list?
